Near to the heart
That will beat till we are free
Close to the start
Here where Adam found a tree
Among these stones
My destiny calls me

Sacrifices is a modern fable drawn from an ancient story, told in a contemporary style. Written millennia ago, this wisdom is once again needed, as history feels on the verge of repeating itself and societies are forced to ask what they are willing to give up, and for whom. In this story about people searching for meaning and connection as the world around them fractures, Sacrifices insists on hope: the knowledge that something human, rooted, and alive can still grow from what remains.
